Privacy Policy
How personal information submitted through this website is collected, used, protected and, in a few limited cases, shared.
Last updated August 2026
FairwayMedicare does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Scope of this policy
This policy explains what personal information the FairwayMedicare website collects, why it is collected, how it is handled, and what choices are available to the people it belongs to.
It covers every page and form on this site. It does not cover other websites that may be reached through a link from here.
Information collected
Information reaches this site in two ways. Some is entered deliberately and some is gathered automatically by the browser:
- Details typed into a form, such as name, email address, phone number and the account password chosen at registration.
- Details described in a message, which on this site often include doctors, medicines, coverage dates and expected costs.
- Consent selections recorded at registration, along with the date and time they were made.
- Technical details such as browser type, device type, approximate region and the pages visited during a session.
How information is used
Information supplied through this site is used for a short list of purposes:
- Preparing and sending the written Medicare guidance a submission asks for.
- Answering follow up questions about a submission already received.
- Maintaining an account and allowing access to it.
- Sending service or marketing messages where consent for them was given.
- Keeping the site secure, working correctly, and easier to read on the devices people use.
Health related details
Some of what people choose to share here concerns their own health, including the medicines they take and the doctors they see. Those details are supplied voluntarily and are used only to prepare the written reply requested.
They are not used for advertising, are not built into any profile, and are not passed to anyone for marketing purposes.
Text message and email communications
Where consent was given at registration, service and marketing messages may be sent about Medicare coverage, plan options, enrollment periods and follow ups to a submitted request. Consent is never required in order to receive a written reply.
How often messages arrive can differ, and standard message and data rates may apply. Sending STOP as a reply stops anything further, and sending HELP asks for support. Mobile numbers collected for these messages are not shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Sharing of information
Personal information is disclosed only in the limited situations below:
- To service providers who host this site or deliver its email and text messages, and only so far as their work requires.
- Where the law requires it, or in response to a valid legal request.
- To protect the rights, safety or property of the site, its visitors, or others.
- With the clear permission of the person the information belongs to.
Cookies and site measurement
This site may use cookies and similar small files so pages load correctly and so basic visit counts can be understood. These do not read anything stored elsewhere on a device.
Most browsers allow cookies to be blocked or cleared through their settings. Blocking them may change how parts of the site behave.
Data retention
Information is kept only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, and after that for any period that record keeping obligations require.
When a retention period ends, information is deleted or stripped of anything that identifies a person.
Security
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect information held through this site, including restricted access and encrypted transmission where it is available.
No method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be promised.
Choices and rights
Depending on where a person lives, some or all of the following may be requested:
- A copy of the personal information held about them.
- Correction of anything inaccurate or out of date.
- Deletion of information that no longer needs to be kept.
- Withdrawal of consent to marketing messages, at any point and without affecting anything already sent.
- Confirmation that personal information has not been sold or traded, which on this site it has not.
Children
This site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone who is not old enough to use the site.
If information belonging to a child is found to have been submitted, it is removed once that is known.
Third party websites
Links may lead to carrier websites, to official Medicare resources, or to other outside pages. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies.
Reading the policy of any site before submitting information to it is always worthwhile, since this policy does not apply there.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site changes or as practices are refined. Any update takes effect once it appears on this page and the date at the top is revised alongside it.
Checking this page from time to time is the surest way to see the current version.
